Description: Analyzes the concept of development by examining major theories and approaches in the anthropological study of international development. Focuses on the re- lationship between anthropology and the development industry. Topics include ethical issues in develop- ment anthropology, causes of failure and success in development interventions, and transformations in development theory and practice.
