Description: Expands on skills introduced in ART 150/MCS 150. Explores issues and skills connected with video/film/media art based on the production, history, and theory of the moving image. Covers recording, editing theory, lighting, and sound mixing. Examines time-based media through installation, documentary, experimental film, video art, sound art, and performance. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units. Cross-listed with ART 155. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
