Description: Introduction of cinema as a kind of choreography. Examines how it sets bodies in motion both on and in front of the screen. Considers some of the ways bodily movement was understood philosophically, scientifically, and bureaucratically at the moment cinema emerged. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
