Prerequisites: upper-division standing or consent of instructor
Description: Introduces the history, theory, and practice of alternative forms of media production. Focuses on how various media forms were used to disseminate information in order to motivate audiences to take action for social change. Provides opportunities to learn documentary making, experiment with media forms, and produce alternative media projects. Course is repeatable as topics change to a maximum of 12 units. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
