Description: Examines the borderlands as a site of social and political negotiation over space and within cultural studies. Topics include race, gender, activism, and culture. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) by students advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
