Prerequisites: upper-division standing; consent of instructor

Description: An introduction to a comparative analysis of public education as it relates to Native Americans, African Americans, Latinas/ os, Chicanas/os, and Asian Americans. Focuses on experiences within the United States. Compares and contrasts experiences within these groups, as well as identifies major policy disagreements. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
