Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Intensive research in medieval literature. May focus on major authors, including Chaucer, Langland, or the Gawain-poet; genres, including romance, prose, or the drama; thematic topics, including gender, literacy, or subjectivity; or methodology, including textual study, historicism, or literary theory. Course is repeatable as content changes.
