Prerequisites: MATH 146A or equivalent; first-year standing in the graduate program in Bioengineering

Description: Provides a fundamental grounding in applied mathematics. Enables the provision of problems in biotransport and bioreaction kinetics. Topics include linear differential equations solutions; analytical methods for partial differential equations including separations of variables, similarity transforms, and perturbation methods; and numerical methods for bioengineering, regression techniques, and error analysis.
