Description: Focuses on key cultural movements or developments in Europe and the United States over the past century. Provides a thematic history of the avant-grade and experimental arts including painting, sculpture, photography, video, film, performance, installation, and new media art. Cross-listed with AHS 186. Fulfills the Humani ties requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
