Description: An introduction to classic works of German literature and their film adaptations. Explores adaptations by film directors such as Welles, Kubrick, Visconti, and Fassbinder. Studies the nexus between literature, film, and theatre. Course conducted in English. Cross-listed with CPLT 126 and GER 126. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
