Description: An introduction to basic concepts in media/ entertainment law with a focus on film and television. Covers copyright/intellectual property, entertainment financing, censorship, entertainment contracts, laws related to guilds, and representing talent. Focuses on both transactional law and case law. Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
