Description: Addresses the gender politics of The Arab Spring focusing on revolutionary gender activism. Explores a world of dissent, chaos, and violence, but also one of beauty, ethics, and artistic expression as individuals come together to fight for “bread, freedom, and social justice.” Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, not both.
