Prerequisites: upper-division standing or consent of instructor

Description: Explores women’s and feminist involvement in environmental movements. Examines how gender shapes our relationships with and approaches to environmental problems in the United States and globally. Investigates intersections between feminist concerns (health, reproduction, mothering, gender equity, and social justice) and environmental issues (conservation, pollution and global warming, and sustainability). Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
