Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor
Description: Provides basic training in research design for sociologists. Begins with strategies for deriving theoretically informed empirical questions. Proceeds with discussion of how to collect and analyze date most appropriate to answer such questions. This course is required for both the M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology.
Credit: May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor.
