Prerequisites: MUS 206, graduate standing; or consent of instructor
Description: Focuses on current scholarship in musicology and related fields with a strong critical content. Addresses particular topics relative to their historical and stylistic periods. Topics include nationalism, gender and sexuality in music, identity in music, individual genres and composers, and exoticism. Course is repeatable.
