Description: Explores international relations between the United States and the nations of Latin America. Examines different theories for explaining changes in the conduct of U.S.-Latin American relations over time. Topics include democracy and empire, revolution and counter-insurgency, economic integration and trade, petroleum politics, drug trafficking, and migration flows.
