Description: Examines the foundational ideas critical for understanding the historical evolution of race and ethnic issues in the United States and within international relations. Prepares graduate students to conceptualize multidisciplinary and comparative ethnic studies research. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
