Description: Eighteenth-century dance technique at the beginning level. Focuses on movement practices, corporeality, spatial navigation, and relationships with music. Dances are situated in historical, cultural, and political frameworks. Outside-of-class assignments include attending dance concerts, viewing dance videos, and regular individual practice sessions. Recommended for non-dancers and dancers. Course is repeatable.
