Description: Covers fine structure and spin-orbit coupling in single-electron atoms; angular momentum coupling and magnetic moments in many-electron atoms; Hartree-Fock solution to many-electron problem; hyperfine structure; atoms in the various electromagnetic fields; the two-level atom; electron spin and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy; laser spectroscopy; and fundamentals of chemical bonding in molecules.
