Description: Explores the construct of democracy in Latin America related to various media. Introduces current political and cultural issues in multiple countries. Critically reflects on the concept of democracy and how different social actors understand democracy. Evaluates the role of media in democratic processes. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
