Description: Introduces a variety of theoretical perspectives that inform global communication and media studies. Compares different world media systems. Surveys global media conglomerates and explores global communication in a digital age. Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
