Description: Explores the idea of the border and the making of U.S.-Mexican border culture through theatre, comedy, performance art, and film. This course is the second of three in a yearlong, multidisciplinary sequence about society and culture in the U.S.-Mexican borderlands. Students are encouraged, but not required, to take HASS 022A and HASS 022C. Fulfills the Humanities (Additional) or Fine Arts requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
