Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Covers the study of the shape and deformation of the Earth’s surface using satellite data (InSAR and GPS). Includes measuring topography and surface deformation; processing, visualization and interpretation of data; simple analytical and numerical deformation models; and applications of techniques to tectonic, volcanic, and non-tectonic problems.

Credit: May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor.
