Description: A survey of the significant Black American writers and literary movements from 1930 to the present. Attention will focus on the work of literary movements represented by such writers as Wright, Ellison, Brooks, Baldwin, Baraka, and others. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
