Description: Investigates growth and evolution of the relationship between African Americans and Native Americans. Focuses on selected Native American nations and their relationship with transplanted Africans, blended communities of blacks and Indians, the process of transculturalization, black Indians as outlaws, and blacks and Indians in a modern educational experiment. Fulfills the Social Science requirement of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
