Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Introduction to the various theories of racial and class inequality. Areas covered will include social scientific explanations for racial and ethnic inequality; ideological justifications for racial, ethnic, and class inequality; intersection of caste, class, and race in world inequality; and strategies to end inequality.
