Description: Introduces basic tools for using data to make informed managerial decisions under uncertainty. Addresses modeling, performance evaluation, and optimization of systems with uncertain parameters. Topics include Markov chains, Markov decision processes, and probabilistic linear and dynamic programming. Applications are drawn from operations, finance, marketing, and other management fields.
