Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Focuses on the theories and practices of recent research into key issues of the history of Rome. Covers the late Republic and continues into the high empire. Introduces students to the key historiographic texts, as well as the primary ancient sources relevant to key topics in Roman history. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
