Description: Study of representative works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry from the 1960s to the present. Emphasis upon the works of Louise Erdrich, Joy Harjo, N. Scott Momaday, Simon Ortiz, Leslie Silko, Gerald Vizenor, and James Welch, among others. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
