Description: Introduction to the complex issues of natural resource ownership, protection, and regulation in the institutional environment of local, state, and federal laws, implementing agencies, and competing interests in environmental protection. Examines decision making in the context of the rights and limits of both private parties and the broad public interest in the use and protection of natural resources.
