Prerequisites: admission to the Education Specialist Credential Program

Description: Examines materials, strategies, and approaches to improve reading and language skills. Reviews diagnostic and assessment tools and interventions designed to assist with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Teaches the principles of Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE), which benefits non- native speakers and those with disabilities in language and communication.
