Description: An exploration of the ways in which femi- nist theory provides insight on contemporary issues in bioethics. Topics include women in clinical research, cosmetic surgery, abortion, contract gestation, fetal protection policies, and the politics of mental illness. Cross-listed with PHIL 171. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
