Prerequisites: VNM 005 or equivalent or a sufficiently high test score on the Vietnamese placement examination as determined by the department faculty or consent of instructor
Description: Designed to develop fluency in Vietnamese to the level of intellectual conversation. Emphasis is on read- ing and writing of Vietnamese literature and criticism, visual culture, and discussion of current issues of Vietnamese society.
