Prerequisites: SPN 002 with a grade of "C-" or better or equivalent
Description: An introduction to the sound system and grammar of Spanish, with attention to the development of the four skills: under- standing, speaking, reading, and writing. Classes con- ducted in Spanish insofar as possible. Audio-lingual and computer-based learning materials are available in the language laboratory.
