Prerequisites: Student is required to take Spanish placement examination
Description: An introduction to the sound system and grammar of Spanish, with attention to the development of the four skills: understanding, speaking, reading, and writing. Classes conducted in Spanish insofar as possible. Audio-lingual and computer-based learning materials are available in the language laboratory.
