Description: This course exam- ines the interdependence between personal charac- teristics, Afro-American culture, and the social condi- tions which foster the Black experience. Group mem- bership, life styles, role factors, and situational settings as social norms will be explored in order to under- stand the uniqueness of the Black experience.
