Description: Introduces the study and practice of international environmental politics. Familiarizes students with major developments in the evolution of international environmental law and poli- cy. Topics covered include ozone depletion, acid rain, marine pollution and whaling, tropical deforestation, overpopulation, and the impact of environmental degradation on the politics of sub-Saharan Africa.
