Prerequisites: gradu- ate standing; consent of instructor

Description: Covers phenome- nology of electroweak and strong interactions in elec- tron-positron collisions; experimental results; and techniques for investigating the properties and inter- actions of quarks, gluons, leptons, and the W and Z gauge bosons at high energy e+e- accelerators. Students who present a seminar or submit a paper receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable. Gary
