Description: Addresses the basic nuclear properties, as well as the nuclear building blocks and structure. Explores radioactivity, nuclear interactions, the strong force, the confinement and chiral phase transitions, the quantum chromodynam- ics (QCD) vacuum, and matter at extreme tempera- tures and densities.
