Description: Explores new fields of artistic creativity emerging from the convergence of sound and image. Focuses on audiovisual and multi- media composition, as well as on the collaboration process embracing research, composition, and per- formance. Encourages exploration of the links among sound, image space, environment, and digital media. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) by students advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D.
