Description: A comparative exploration of the ancient sciences through the medium of science fic- tion. This course is the second of three in a yearlong, multidisciplinary sequence that bridges the “two cul- tures” of sciences and the humanities. Students are encouraged, but not required, to take HASS 023A and HASS 023C. Fulfills the Humanities (Additional) or Literature requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
