Description: Explores Asian/American musics as a window on the cultural politics of Asian America. This course is the second of three in a yearlong, multidisci- plinary sequence about the making of culture in Asian/American communities. Students are encour- aged, but not required, to take HASS 021A and HASS 021C. Fulfills the Humanities (Additional) requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
