Description: Investigates growth and evolution of the relationship between African Americans and Native Americans. Focuses on selected Native American nations and their relation- ship with transplanted Africans, blended communities of blacks and Indians, the process of transculturaliza- tion, black Indians as outlaws, and blacks and Indians in a modern educational experiment. Fulfills the Social Science requirement of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
