Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Examines representations in a variety of lit- erary, media, and critical genres by or of lesbians, gay men, transgenders, and others marginalized because of their sexuality or gender expression. Topics may include the history of sexuality, camp, posthuman genders and sexualities, queer theory, and lesbian and gay literature and film. Course is repeatable as content changes.
