Topics include protein kinases and protein phosphory- lation; phosphatases and their role in regulation; func- tion of phosphorylation events in regulation of metabo- lism and growth; calcium and other ion channels as signal transduction mechanisms; steriod hormones receptor super family; immune system signal trans- duction events.
