Description: Prehistory and ethnography of the Great Basin. Topics include the earliest dated archaeological Lithi-stage manifestations, regional and temporal expres- sions of the Western Archaic, Formative Anasazi and Fremont developments, and the Numic peoples. Emphasis will be on technology and cultural ecology.
