Prerequisites: STAT 160C, STAT 170B, STAT 171; or consent of instructor
Description: Covers statistical consulting and analysis of client data, the client-consultant meeting, negotia- tions, communications, interactions, and skills that facilitate the process of self-learning. Involves client visitations and field trips. Students present written and oral reports and technical talks. Statistics gradu- ate students receive a letter grade; other students receive a letter grade or Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
