Description: Develops skills in research methodologies currently available to cognitive scien- tists such as eye-tracking, computational modeling, signal detection, neuroimaging, and event-related potential techniques. Emphasis is on critically exam- ining assumptions of methods and current research utilizing each method, and on how each is being uti- lized to address theoretical and empirical questions. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 9 units if taken with dif- ferent instructors.
