Description: Provides an overview of the liter- ature focusing on the analysis of individual behavior within various types of institutional arrangements. Introduces a diversity of work oriented in rational choice theory, broadly defined. Emphasis is placed on applying institutional analysis to legislative, bureau- cratic, and so-called informal institutions.
