Description: Covers electromagnetic radiation and scattering; propagation of electromag- netic fields in non-uniform media (geometrical optics, interference, and diffraction); special theory of relativi- ty; Lagrangian formalism; and dynamics of relativistic particles in external fields. Also examines Cherenkov radiation and magnetic monopoles.
